Founded in the 1977 as Portland Pattern, a small Northwest pattern shop, the company built a reputation for expert pattern making, serving local industries with precision molds. For decades, the business thrived on craftsmanship and quality.
As demand grew for precision machining in aerospace and high-tech sectors, Portland Pattern opened its new division,
Portland Precision Industries.
With cutting-edge technology and AS9100 certification, it became a leader in precision manufacturing, blending its legacy of craftsmanship with innovation, evolving from a local staple to a global competitor.
Portland Precision Industries still relies on the precision craftsmanship that made Portland Pattern Great, but has expanded to offer more current and cutting edge services to Aerospace and other critical and demanding industries.

At the tip of the spear, Terry has been there from the start! Starting his career as an apprentice under the previous owners of Portland Pattern, Terry learned the ropes from the best in the business. Dedicated to keeping craftsmanship alive he purchased Portland Pattern in 2013 and has led the charge of ensuring its growth and success ever since. He has stayed ahead of technology and demand ultimately leading to the birth of Portland Precision Industries! A premier Aerospace Manufacturing company capable of taking on the industries most critical components and assemblies.

Larry joined the company in 2012 and immediately became Terry's right hand man in the shop! His attention to detail, and ability to influence teams to achieve greatness was immensely impactful to the success of the company and the satisfaction of customers. This paired with a similar passion to world class craftsmanship made him an obvious choice to become partner in 2023. Since then he has continued to use his skill to grow the business including supporting the new division to address Aerospace, Medical Device and other certified manufacturing demand.
